It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, would be conducting a Preceptorship & Hands on Training on Dermoscopy and Trichoscopy on December 5&6, 2026. Dermoscopy is a rapidly evolving field.
For the dermatologist,the derrmoscope is the new stethoscope, and has found widespread acceptance among students, practitioners and academicians. Apart from its traditional application in melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, dermoscopy is now being increasingly used in the diagnostics and monitoring of various inflammatory and pigmentary dermatoses and trichology.
With a vision to develop the field of Dermoscopy in an Indian setting and to educate our fraternity on uses and applications of Dermoscopy, Department of Dermatology, AIMS, Kochi, in association with Dermatoscopy Society of India (DYSI) and International Dermoscopy Society is organizing this event and we invite you all to participate in this academic feast to be held at Kochi, the queen of the Arabian sea Please make it convenient to attend the conference.
